To help you, we've consolidated a list of the frequent questions about wooden watches that customers typically ask us.

The wood we use comes from various countries around the world. All of the wood however is FSC certified. FSC stands for the "Forest Stewardship Council", a non-profit organisation that sets standards to ensure that forestry is practiced in an environmentally responsible way. FSC certified wood is harvested from forests that are responsibly managed and socially beneficial. 

Yes, extremely. Whilst many customers are apprehensive about buying a wooden watch at first, worried that it will break, it's quite the contrary. The wood used in a wooden watch is very similar to the wood used in furniture. Some popular wood types used in wooden watches such as zebra wood are especially known for their durability and strength. All of our wooden watches are hand crafted and the quality of the wood gets checked throughout the production process several times.

No, we don't currently offer any waterproof models. Although all of our models are resistant to water splashes, they should not be soaked in water. 

A wooden watch does not need any additional maintaining compared to a normal watch. It's recommended however to keep it in a cool and dry place and to dust it off with a slightly wet cloth regularly. Optionally, you can also apply a very small amount of olive oil to the cloth occasionally, but this should not really be required often.

All of our watches are packaged in eco-friendly and recyclable materials such as a kraft paper box or a wooden gift box.

Returns and exchanges

We have a 30-day return policy if you are unhappy or want to return your product. We recommend you consult our refund policy or contact us if you have questions.

To start a return, contact us at customer@jeddosons.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Contact us at customer@jeddosons.com and attach a picture of the condition in which you received a product. We'll send you a replacement free of charge.
